Whenever I go back to the Philippines, I make it a point to go to Tagaytay. It is a great place to visit so I could escape the busy streets of Manila.
Don’t get me wrong, being inside the malls is fun (especially with the child), but being out in the streets where it is usually hot is something I do not enjoy along with my kid who are used to colder weather.
Tagaytay is sixty kilometers away from Manila. It is way different than most cities in the Philippines. Yes, it is easier to go there now unlike before, and yes, they already have traffic there – something Tagaytay and Manila have in common (well, most metropolitan in the country has it too) and unlike Manila, Tagaytay is a place where you can experience nature. It has outdoor parks and restaurants, and malls or shopping centers where you can expect to see a stunning view every time.
Well, while we’re talking about stunning views, don’t forget Taal Volcano when you get the chance to visit. Aside from being an awesome natural anomaly, it is just beautiful. You’ll not see anything like it.
Going back on topic, let us talk about Tagaytay as a wedding venue. Tagaytay is a popular choice for destination weddings in the Philippines because of the cool weather, beautiful scenery, and rustic ambiance. Saying your “I do’s” doesn’t have to be expensive or far away, even considering a small civil wedding could mean the world for couples who are in love and wants to lock in their love for each other through a ceremony they can share with their loved ones.
Destination weddings have become a thing especially for couples who come from different places and want a central place to bring their relatives and friends together. Getting a Tagaytay wedding venue is just to make your ceremony cooler than what the Philippine weather has to offer, really, but wherever you decide to celebrate your wedding, it’s always great to do it with the person you love and can see the future with.
